Measure description: Measured manually with a Shelly Plus Plug UK, polling its Switch.GetStatus apower every 2 s and averaging, with the camera on its own USB adapter (the adapter's draw is included). Privacy mode on: 1.95 W; watching by day (night vision forced off, colour image): 2.23 W; watching at night (night vision forced on, IR LEDs lit, black-and-white image): 3.32 W. 60-90 s per state after settling, repeated privacy readings agreed within 0.05 W. tapo_control has no day/night sensor, so the Night Vision Switching select decides: forced on uses the IR figure, forced off the day figure, and on auto the sun is the proxy for IR. Firmware 1.4.2 Build 260302.
